SCAMMERS ARE ON THE LOOSE

Keeping up with scammers is tough. It’s like trying to win a game of Whac-A-Mole. No matter how hard you hit it, a new one just pops up again.

Specifically, illegal returns are a huge headache for companies.

And the numbers back it up.

Out of the $212 billion returned online purchases, 22.7 billion is said to be fraudulent.

Let that number sink in. That’s extremely costly for companies and I have one nifty solution that can make you over $100,000 in the first year.

But first, I want you to understand the problem.

How would one even make a fraudulent return?It could be many different things:

• Using a fake receipt

• Lying that items were damaged when they really weren’t

• Switching high-value items with lesser ones

• The list goes on

Subreddits are blowing up for ways people are trying to cheat the system and get discounts.

For instance, r/IllegalLifeProTips helps people get illegal discounts. Like how to acquire an .edu email to get a college discount.

There are also subreddits for how to return items that you actually keep.

r/RefundMentorship or r/RefundMob are both great examples of this growing quickly.

Go undercover. Pretend to be someone who’s never left their mom’s basement and is looking to scam a company’s return policy.

These reddit pages are loaded with scammers looking for money. There’s literally hundreds of postings saying “Refund services”. Pay them a small fee and figure out their methods.

Then turn around and sell this information to companies through a monthly subscription where you send out one newsletter a month and run through all the new tactics scammers are taking to cheat companies. This is a 23 billion dollar problem, there will be customers.

Companies don't want to pay employees to do this but they'll pay a $10-$20k yearly subscription to see this data cleaned up. Get 5-10 clients and you’re at $100k.

If your data helps companies figure out how the scams are happening and allows them to close the loopholes, it will save them well.. billions!

And since scammers will always exist, there will always be a market for you.
