SUPERCHARGE YOUR PRODUCTIVITY WITH AI
Microsoftâs Co-Pilot is amazing. Have you used it yet? If the answer is no, worry not. Iâm about to introduce you two like youâre on a blind date.
Meet Co-Pilot, itâs Microsoftâs AI tool thatâs going to 10x your productivity and give you the ability to build businesses you never thought possible.
Today, Iâm going over the 5 features that will wow your boss and make you look like the smartest one on the team this week đ
Letâs dive in.
Hereâs your guide to working 10x faster in under 5 min.
Feature #1: Combining Word Docs with PowerPoint
Hereâs a common scenario: you have a meeting at work to discuss a process change or next steps on a big project. Usually, after these meetings you need signoff from higher-ups (like a Director or VP) to ensure the resources are worth the ROI.
But you canât just go to them with a few notes in a OneNote. Nope, you need to craft a short and sweet deck to visually and simply show what youâre trying to accomplish.
With Co-Pilot, create a slide deck that would usually take an hour or two in 5 minutes.
Hereâs how: In PowerPoint, tell Co-Pilot to âcreate a short presentation based on [document name]â *this can be your notes or a document the team has been building.
That was quick.
Then create any additional slides you want. Or, tell it to simplify a wordy slide and add animations đ
I hope youâre starting the see the possibilities and time savings!
Feature #2: Excel Prompts
Even if youâre handy in Excel, this will still save you time.
Letâs say you have data you need to analyze and summarize for leadership.
Just tell Co-Pilot and itâll easily draw key insights and trends.
Or tell it to create a line chart based on forecasted sales.
And we canât forget about âwhat-ifâ scenarios like, âWhat would my quarter sales have been if Proseware (one of our biggest clients) had maintained volume of 6%?â
Feature #3: Parsing Documents & PDFs
Ever receive a lengthy doc or PDF, need to know the important stuff but donât want to read the whole thing? Same.
Fortunately, Co-Pilot can act as our big TLDR button.
Upload the doc to Bing Chat or open the PDF in Edge and ask Co-Pilot to âAnalyze the PDF and give me the important takeaways with any action items needed in bullet points.â
Feature #4: ChatGPT in Github
If youâre in tech listen up! đŁ
Since Microsoft owns a majority of ChatGPT and owns Github outright, developers now have the luxury of asking âCo-Pilotâ (really ChatGPT) questions right inside Github.
Meaning you can now highlight a section of code and ask Co-Pilot to âcheck for security vulnerabilitiesâ or âcondense this code to make it more efficientâ.
đ Tip from ya boy: If you ever need coding help, ask any AI bot theyâre extremely good at coding.
Feature #5: Teams
Teams is where almost every meeting takes place if your company uses Microsoft. Co-Pilot just made it a sh*tload better.
Instead of taking notes in the middle of a meeting and not being fully present in the conversation, let AI do it for you.
Co-Pilot can now give you live recaps, take notes with who said what and send you transcripts after the fact. It can even simplify the main takeaways and give you a list of next steps.
Another mind blowing but probably not as useful feature is collecting the temperature of the room. You can ask how people feel about a certain topic while the meeting is happening.
One of my buddies says he already uses Teamâs Co-Pilot to send him action items after every meeting so he can be more valuable in the conversations (and get promoted faster!)
To use Co-Pilot after a meeting, go to the recap section and ask Co-Pilot any clarifying questions like âWhen is the deadline for the Mac n Cheese Packaging Project?â
And thatâs the buzzer! â° Phew⌠almost ran over 5 mins
I hope this increases your productivity and helps you work faster, look smarter, and make more money! If you enjoyed tell a friend about the newsletter!
See ya Wednesday for a dope side hustle idea! đŞ
